My girl is growing up

Hi all,

Just a fun fact Madi had her first cereal experience over the weekend! We put her in her highchair & fed her from a baby spoon. She took to it like a fish to water, she had no problem eating from the spoon but she was more interested in trying to hit the spoon out of my hand lol. all in all she probably ate about 3/4 of an ounce spilled the rest of it on her face lap & tray & left an ounce in the bowl but it was a great first attempt. We did not have any bad side effects from it & no sign of constipation problems that we could see so we will be giving her a little bit of cereal every other day for now. Her top two teeth are very close to coming in so we are dealing wiht a slightly fussy baby right now but she loves the frozen teething rings and giggles and laughs when she starts chewing on them it is too cute. I will attach the pics from her first real food later on when i get home tonite. Much love to everyone.

STARTING TO GET A ROUTINE

Well Things are settling into a fairly regualr routine now with me back at work. It f eels like I never left & the busy days make the time fly and before i know it I am back home with Madi. She is getting bigger by the minute & is a very social butterfly. She loves to smile & she still blows bubbles and likes to drool over everything. Time is flying it seems like just yesterday I was very preggo and just dreaming about meeting my baby, now that she is here time is going by so fast I feel like i will blink and she will be starting school. well here are some pix and video of the last few weeks. phill is taking a picture a day of cute moments so i can still share in their day. Hope you all enjoy.

well i survived it!

Hi All,

I have officially survived my first week back at work! Tuesday was really rough with a lot of tears and constant reminding of the reasons we chose to do things this way. When I came home from work Madi was very upset with me & would only smile for her daddy & just tollerated me holding her. Wednesday she woke up with smiles for me tho and let me know all was forgiven. I have found that if I go home for lunch every other day I feel better & Madi does not get mad at me & Phill gets a quick little break from baby duty so it works well for all of us. I only wish gas pricers were cheaper so i could go home every day for lunch. I shall be posting some more video and a few pics over the weekend. I hope everyone is well & I will talk to you all real soon.
PS. 13 more shopping days til my B-Day (lol)
